An Invitation to Experience your Dreams
Something extraordinary happens when you open yourself up to adventure! The adventure of Source Events began in 2001, through conversations with like-minded friends and a shared vision of extraordinary travel experiences for the mind, body and SPIRIT!
Over the past 10 years, our journeys have led us to wonderful destinations and to life-altering experiences and memories. We have sailed on tall ships to enchanting islands, danced on the waves in South Africa, explored the mysteries of Mach Picchu, and watched the sun set over the pyramids from camelback.
Whether rejuvenating with onboard yoga, hiking on the slopes of a volcano, dancing under the moonlight, or visiting the world’s wonders, at Source Events, it’s your choice. Next year brings new adventures full of beauty and mystery and possibility. We will journey to Africa, sail the romantic Danube, and celebrate at Tel Aviv Pride. This is an invitation to dream, to become a part of the family and share in the extraordinary intimacy that defines Source Events.

Armistead Maupin and Ben Cohen joined us as guest speakers on our 2011 Rome to Venice Cruise.
Armistead Maupin
Maupin is the author of nine novels, including the six-volume Tales of the City series. Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears and ”Avenue Q” writer Jeff Whitty have teamed up to produce Tales of the City into a musical destined for Broadway, which premiered this May in San Francisco. Armistead’s has been a featured guest speaker on several Source Events, including our 10th Anniversary Rome to Venice Cruise. www.armisteadmaupin.com
Ben Cohen
A rugby World Cup champion, he is one of the world’s greatest athletes. He is the first straight sports star to dedicate his philanthropic efforts for the benefit of LGBT people. In May 2011 Ben officially launched the Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation, Inc. and StandUpTM social-commerce brand to help fund it. Ben is making is first Source Events appearance on our Source Events 10th Anniversary Rome to Venice Cruise.

Darren Bondy - Cruise Director
Darren Bondy is a Source Events Host & Cruise Director veteran. This is his fourth cruise as Cruise Director. He lives in San Francisco with his partner David. Darren works in Hospitality as a hotel front desk manager. He is very active in his community with fundraising, mentoring youth, and sex/kink education. Darren currently holds the titles of Mr. September (Bare Chest Calendar), Mr. Powerhouse, and Mr. San Francisco Leather.
Chris Verdugo - Production Team Leader
Chris Verdugo’s started his production career at the age of 22 with Paragon Productions as their Artistic Director producing theatrical productions on board cruise lines and hotels internationally. In 1999, he combined his event production background with his fund-raising skills most notably working with many LGBT organizations. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2003, he’s worked with Miss Universe, Sundance Film Festival and produced a LGBT political fundraisers for HRC. Peter Canellis - DJ
Peter Canellis – Under the moniker ”DJ St. Peter”, Canellis was an ever-present and influential club force on the New York and Miami club scene in the 90′s and early 2000’s. Canellis, also referred to as The Storyteller or Transporter, magically creates mystical musical soundscapes, thus creating the illusion of “traveling without moving”. www.djpetercanellis.com
Chris Racine - DJ
During the 90′s DJ Chris Racine got his foot in the door working with Texas based Core Music Systems to open the newly renovated Red Parrot Nightclub in Detroit. After a 2 year residency, he moved on to a 7 year stint at the Nectarine Ballroom in Ann Arbor Michigan. Chris worked with a great team of DJs mixing live on WDRG 93.1 on Saturday nights in downtown Detroit.

Robert Wolf - Wellness Team Leader
During a 100,000-mile journey spanning six continents, Robert Wolf developed a global perspective on health and found his path into the world of wellness. For the past six years, Robert has had the distinct pleasure of creating wellness programming to support Source Events’ guests in finding their own journey towards optimal health.
Thea Sommer
A course leader, world-class mastercoach, and mother, Thea has spent the last 3 decades in personal development. Having spent 17 years in one of the world’s foremost personal development organizations, her highly accomplished background includes being an executive and senior program leader. For more than the last decade, Thea has coached hundreds of people personally and professionally through her organization, Beyond Ten. Nicholas Pratley
The Founder and Director of Intrusessence, his purpose is to provide a playground in which people can connect their spirit, allowing them to live passionately through inspiration. His Award-Winning classes and private sessions facilitate healing through various energetic, physical, shamanic, kinesiology, meditation and breath-work modalities. Bob Bruillard
A licensed professional Bodyworker, Thai-yoga practitioner and Breathwork facilitator Bob Bruillard has worked in the healing-wellness field for over 16 years, including 9 years as faculty at The Massage Institute of New England. Combining his extensive knowledge of our body with movement meditation, tantric awakening practices, and healing touch, he creates a dynamic intersection of Spirit ( breath), Mind ( meditation), and Soma ( body) that acts as a profound catalyst for change. He facilitates mens groups nationally with Spirit Journeys, Easton Mountain and The Body Electric School and maintains a private practice in Boston.
