1.I’m new to Source Events. How is a Source Events cruise distinctive?

Source Events was founded in 2001 with the mission of creating gay travel adventures for the mind, body and spirit. Our cruises are intimate voyages with 150-300 guests, so you can connect and meet other guests easily. Since our ships are generally smaller so you can visit smaller ports and experience them as a traveler without thousands of tourists. We bring aboard hosts, entertainment, djs and a wellness team, which offers yoga, meditation and educational talks at sea. We are community minded, and a portion of the proceeds from all of our cruises and adventures is donated to LGBT organizations.

While we do have parties and djs aboard, we’ve found our guests don’t like partying late into the early morning because they want to enjoy all that the spectacular ports of call and great adventures have to offer. Our mission includes creating experiences for the gay community and friends, and that includes family. It’s not unusual to find siblings of guests and a mom or dad aboard, especially on our Miami Pride Cruise, which just shows how far we’ve come as a community. Our Miami Beach Pride Cruise is probably the most diverse, so we’d encourage you to invite your family and friends and truly cruise with pride. Our gay naturists vacations are for men only.

Our signature cruises are full ship charters, usually aboard luxury sailing yacht’s like Windstar or Star Clipper ships. Tall ship sailing is one of the most fun and romantic and adventurous ways to travel, and we love creating unforgettable, magical experiences, so we’re drawn to the spectacular beauty of these tall ships. Our Pride Cruises are large groups aboard a NCL ships with private parties and events for our guests, so it’s like a cruise within a cruise. These cruises are usually short 3 or 4 night cruises out of Miami, which are perfect for travelers on a budget who don’t have much time to getaway.

Actually our small ship cruises are consistently about 50% singles and 50% couples.
