South Africa

October 20-31, 2012

Join Source Events as we gather for a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Africa!

Of course it all starts in Cape Town. “The Mother City” as it is called by South Africans. A sophisticated, cosmopolitan city set amid staggering natural beauty at the very tip of Africa. It is a city, yes. But one that is intimately connected with nature, shaped by the breathtaking beauty that surrounds it. There are amazing views, history, culture and a thriving gay community. And underneath it all beats the heart of Africa. Spend four nights in the heart of the city and go on not one, but three separate organized private tours, including the Cape of Good Hope and the Cape Winelands!

Living Landscapes

You’ve seen the pictures. Cocktails at dusk, overlooking the watering hole. The world’s most spectacular setting. The Africa of movies and legends and childhood dreams. Go deeper into Africa, and deeper into yourself as we travel to the exclusive Lion Sands River Lodge in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve for an unforgettable safari. The Lodge is about spirit, warmth, nature & relaxation and represents African hospitality at its finest. Sabi Sands features one of the highest wildlife populations in Africa. Dawn and dusk game drives and escorted bushwalks bring you closer than you ever thought possible. From Sabi Sands you’ll travel to Livingstone to witness one of the seven natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls. The sheer power of what natives call “the smoke that thunders” takes your breath away. You’ll reside at the luxurious Royal Livingstone Lodge which beautifully positioned on the banks of the Zambezi in close proximity to the Falls. Take a scenic flight over the Fall and savour a relaxing sunset cruise along the upper Zambezi, the perfect venue to enjoy “sundowners” and watch elephants and giraffes drink at the edge of this romantic river. Victoria Falls is an adventure lovers paradise with white water rafting, bungi jumping, and a variety of safari excursions available.
