Source Events invites you to experience one of the world’s natural wonders on a 3-night tour of Iguazu Falls extension after our Antarctica Voyage. We’ll fly as a group from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls, connecting to one of the planet’s most awe-inspiring sights, the Iguazú Falls are simply astounding. A visit is a jaw-dropping, visceral experience, and the power and sound of the cascades – a chain of hundreds of waterfalls nearly 3km in extension – live forever in the memory. After breakfast, enjoy a wonderful Morning Walking Tour our along the pathways of the Iguazu National Park. This is an exclusive experience that begins before the park opens to outside visitors. Our guide will give you details about the National Park’s history and environment. This tour will be approximately 90 minutes. Lunch at Restaurante Porto Canoas – This restaurant in the National Park as a long pleasant terrace overlooking the river. Enjoy a Private Tour of the Bird Park, which is one of the most important breeding centers for birds in South America. You’ll get close to the birds, as the pathways pass through their nests. During the visit, it is possible to see over 900 rate and colorful birds, divided into 150 species, most of them being native from the surrounding forest. The pathways length is about 2km. They are flat and there are resting areas along the way. Optional Helicopter Sightseeing Tour Over Iguazu Falls. After breakfast, transfer to the Falls on the Argentina side. Visit Devil’s Throat, which is the largest of about 275 waterfalls making up Iguazu Falls. At approximately 262 feet high and with constantly rushing water, Devil’s Throat is the highlight of a visit to Iguazu Falls. The waterfall marks the border between Brazil and Argentina. There is a trail leading to viewing platforms on three different levels, offering great photography vantage points, especially when sun and mist combine to create rainbows. Enjoy lunch at the Melia Hotel with amazing views! Iguazu Falls Great Adventure – The adventure continues with a motorboat trip along the Iguazu River. Feel the rush of adrenaline as the Iguazu motor-boat tour takes you twisting and turning to the foot of the powerful and deafening gorge of the Devil’s Throat.
